As the sun sets in Houston tonight, the college football world is abuzz with anticipation for tonight's championship game at [NRG Stadium](https://www.getzippin.com/blog/second-checkout-free-store-at-nrg-stadium). No. 1 Michigan and No. 2 Washington are set to make history, not only as fierce competitors but as future conference mates. With the SEC notably absent, and it being both team’s first appearance in this championship, tonight’s game promises a fresh era for college football.
The spotlight is on Michigan's star running back, Blake Corum, as he aims to elevate his game against Washington's run defense woes. Corum's consistency and knack for finding the end zone make him a force to be reckoned with. On the other side, Washington's defense faces the challenge of containing Corum, especially in the red zone, where their struggles have been evident.
While Michigan leans on its ground game, Washington's strength lies in its secondary, particularly in limiting big plays. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr., a Heisman finalist, looks to lead Washington's transcendent offense against Michigan's formidable secondary, setting the stage for a thrilling aerial battle.
No matter who you may be rooting for, if you’re lucky enough to be at the game, it’s going to be an exciting one! Houston’s NRG Stadium provides the perfect backdrop for this historic showdown. As the only retractable roof stadium capable of accommodating a wide range of events, it offers a unique experience for fans and spectators.
But that’s not the only unique thing fans can enjoy this evening. Thanks to the three Zippin-powered stores throughout the stadium, attendees can shop checkout-free and see more of the game. It takes just 30 seconds to grab food and drinks with Zippin, because there’s no lines, no checkout, and no hassle. NRG also boasts one of the first [Zippin Walk-Ups](https://www.getzippin.com/zippin-walk-up2), an innovative checkout-free concept that converts hot food concession stands into checkout-free experiences.
If you’re attending the game tonight, shop at a Zippin-powered store in sections 120 or 140, or try the new Zippin Walk-Up in section 548. You won’t have to risk missing a moment of tonight’s action.
