Role Summary

We are looking for a talented Technical Program Manager to join our Customer Success, Solutions team. You will play a crucial role in guiding and developing solutions for our clients. This includes ensuring the successful implementation, integration, and adoption of Zippin's technology. You will work closely with our sales, engineering, supply chain, and installation teams to understand Retailer requirements, design technical solutions, and manage the project through to completion.

The Technical Program Manager hired for this position will focus on the overall success of our implementations, assemble the appropriate solution (hardware and software) for each client’s use case, manage new and existing integration solutions, clarify dependencies between projects, keep the budgets in line, and mitigate any risks that may present themselves. We’re looking for someone who has demonstrated excellence with similar technical program management in the past.


  • Understand Retailer requirements and translate them into solutions using Zippin's technology.
  • Work with sales and engineering teams during the presales process to develop technical proposals and presentations.
  • Create and maintain project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, installation, and engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Act as the main point of contact for Retailers during the implementation process, providing regular updates and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure successful adoption of Zippin's technology by Retailers, including training and support as needed.
  • Identify and escalate any risks or challenges that may impact project timelines or customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve our processes and procedures to enhance the Retailer experience.


  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role, preferably in the retail or technology industry with experience in Software and Hardware solutions
  • Strong understanding of software and hardware development lifecycle and project management methodologies.
  • Experience with presales activities, including solution design and proposal development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
