Zippin, the leading provider of checkout-free technology, is thrilled to announce the opening of six new checkout-free stores at Allegiant Stadium, the iconic home of the Las Vegas Raiders. These stores, launched in collaboration with Levy, the hospitality partner at Allegiant Stadium, represent an expansion to the existing four Zippin LanesTM that deployed last season. With the additional stores, the Allegiant Stadium becomes the first location in the world with ten checkout-free stores.
Our partnership with Zippin quickly provided tremendous value for the Las Vegas Raiders," said Team President, Sandra Douglass Morgan. "We had such success with our first four Zippin Lanes™ that we decided to expand our investment after just a few home games. We're committed to being at the forefront of technology that delivers exceptional gameday experiences and proud to be a pioneer with checkout-free technology as adoption continues to gain speed throughout the sports industry."
Zippin's checkout-free stores at Allegiant Stadium offer more than just fan convenience—they have a profound positive impact. With reduced wait times and increased efficiency, fans get more time to immerse themselves in the electrifying atmosphere of Allegiant Stadium. The stadium can effortlessly serve more guests more often, so no one is turned away due to long lines or tight shopping windows. The return on investment for Zippin’s checkout-free stores has been impressive, as evidenced by the remarkable results seen in just one season, including:
- 86% growth in per-store revenue
- 78% increase in per-capita spending
- 4% expansion in basket-size
"Zippin is proud to expand our partnership with the Las Vegas Raiders and Levy," said Krishna Motukuri, CEO and co-founder of Zippin. "Our frictionless shopping experience is helping to revolutionize the way people enjoy live sports and entertainment. We believe our collaboration with the Raiders will set a new standard for checkout-free retail within stadiums and beyond."
Gallery provided full design, production, and installation services for the six new Zippin-powered stores. With their white-glove service, Gallery managed all the details across multiple partners while keeping the project on time and on budget. Remarkably, these new stores were installed in just four days while the venue continued to operate and hold major events.
“Some people are skeptical about deploying checkout-free concessions, concerned over disruption or delays,” said Dan Gallery, President of Gallery. “Working with Zippin and the Raiders at Allegiant, we’ve demonstrated just how fast we can get these stores up and running. Couple that with our expertise in designing and installing concessions experiences, and you’ve got a winning combination where venues can achieve a fast ROI%.”
Zippin's checkout-free technology will be on full display during Super Bowl LVIII in February 2024. More than 65,000 fans from around the world will have the opportunity to experience checkout-free shopping firsthand. By simply tapping a credit card to enter, they can seamlessly shop for snacks, beverages, and merchandise and be back in their seats in no time. No waiting, no scanning, no app required, and no regrets from missing a once-in-a-life moment.
